Writing With Chalk is a website that features hundreds of teaching resources that are offered FOR FREE! Writing With Chalk is filled with lesson plans, rubrics, templates, tests, classroom decorations, and classroom activities that can be viewed and downloaded AT NO COST! In a nutshell, this website is a gold mine for both nearly all teachers around the world; whether you have been teaching in a classroom environment for 2 months or 20 years, you will surely find something that you can use on Writing With Chalk.
This website was created, developed, and is managed by Mike Cimicata. He found his passion for teaching through his volunteer work in various schools across Toronto; he further acted upon that passion by acquiring a Bachelor’s of Education, getting hired by a school board, and acquiring a contract for teaching his own classroom. Mike Cimicata has a plethora of classroom experience, and understands how difficult it can be to get hired by a school board, and be a successful beginner teacher.
Mike Cimicata has developed the e-book that is sold on this website entitled Get Hired By A School Board This Year: The Secrets Of Getting Into A Classroom. He is a teacher that spent months improving his credentials in order to get hired by a school board, and knows what it takes to get into a classroom as quickly as possible.
Mike Cimicata has plenty of classroom experience, and has recorded ideas, lessons, and classroom activities from the many classes that he has substitute taught in. He has implemented these ideas, lessons, and classroom activities in his own classroom and found out what works best. He has developed Writing With Chalk to share all of these teaching resources with the other teachers in the world that would like to use them.
Many teaching websites tend to charge a monthly or yearly subscription fee for the lesson plans, rubrics, tests, and classroom activities that they have posted; however, Mike Cimicata thinks that it is absolutely unnecessary to take money from other teachers for teaching resources that are meant to be shared. Writing With Chalk is meant to offer all of these same resources FOR FREE!
Writing With Chalk was developed during the summer months of 2011, and is continually being expanded and upgraded. There are various lesson plans, rubrics, classroom activities, templates, and classroom decorations that are being posted to the website on a weekly basis.
Writing With Chalk gladly accepts teaching resources from teachers that are willing to post them to the website for free; all that the teachers must do in order to donate their teaching resources is fill out the form on the Become And Author page!
