As teachers, we entirely understand the importance of staying organized and flexible throughout the school year. With that being said, it is nice to have a general overview of lessons or aspects within each subject that you will be teaching for the week.

There are a few benefits to doing this. One beneficial aspect (for the teacher) of using this weekly schedule template for elementary school teachers is that you can know where you will start and where you will finish during that week for any given subject. In addition, you can provide the students with an additional “heads up” for any important events that may be happening throughout that week. For instance, you will be able to warn the students that they will be having a test on Friday because you will know about the test after you have completed the weekly schedule template for elementary school subjects!
